Quality Engineer
Overview
As a Quality Engineer (Design) at SysMind, you’ll be at the center of driving excellence across the software development lifecycle. You’ll ensure that every feature we build,, no matter how complex, is stable, intuitive, and delivers measurable value to our clients.
The role demands a blend of technical rigor, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product managers to establish testing frameworks, define automation strategies, and enforce robust quality standards.
Your focus will be on validating system design, usability, scalability, and integration, ensuring that every product meets our “zero-defect” benchmark before reaching production.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive testing strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or TestNG.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams early in the SDLC to identify quality risks and define acceptance criteria.
- Create test data, test cases, and test plans aligned with user stories and system requirements.
- Execute manual and automated testing cycles, ensuring seamless user experiences and system performance.
- Build CI/CD integration pipelines for automated quality checks at each deployment stage.
- Monitor defect trends, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct UX validation and design verification to ensure intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with industry quality standards, including ISO, Six Sigma, and QA automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality ownership across the organization.
